For sale is a rare vintage late 1940's Sky King Magni-Glow writing & Secret Compartment Premium Ring with adjustable band by Peter Pan Peanut Butter. This unique ring opens in three hinged sections. It contains a secret compartment and magnifying glass hidden in a flying crown ruby base. The magnifier lens is still clear and clean. At night coded eerie green blinker light pulses can be sent (supposedly).
The inner portion of the ring ...folds out revealing the secret compartment, magnifier lens, and magni-glow with ball point pen that once wrote in red ink. One side of the ring features a plane with the words "Flying Arrow" above it. The opposite side features a horse with the words "Yellow Fury". This ring is highly collectible and is in very good, clean condition!
Sky King was an early 1950's TV series that is believed to be based on a true-life personality of the 1930's, Jack Cones, know as the "Flying Constable" in San Bernardino County, California.
