12"  PETE THE PUP Cartoon Character by J L Kallus 1932.    This hard to find toy is originally out of an estate, and he's been standing in my china cabinet for a long time.  He is in nice condition for the age with some wear & scuffing, and crazing (his chest label is in good condition -see pics). His head in composition & his body is wooden".  He is listed in the book "Composition & Wood Dolls & Toys", printed 1998 - he is listed at $175 - $275... in this book, and we are starting him at less.  This guy would definitely make a stellar addition to a collection, or a fabulous gift.  Don't miss out on this one.
