Estate find Vintage Atlas Special 12oz Longneck Beer Bottle 1929-32 Prohibition Paper Label. Empty prohibition beer bottle. Atlas Special 12oz with Illinois permit for being below alcohol content. "CONTAINS LESS THAN 1/2 OF 1% ALCOHOL BY VOLUME". This is a paragraph I copied from chicagology.com:“During the prohibition years, Chicago issued two permits for breweries. The first was U-Permit, which allowed the production of near-beer which had no alcohol. After the sixth year of prohib...ition, L-Permits were issued to six Chicago breweries. These allowed the production of beer that contained ½% alcohol.”

This Atlas Special bottle has 5 5 and 3 dots punched in the paper label as shown in the pics. Not sure exactly what that stands for. Bottle is in tact with no chips or cracks that I can see. The label has tears, as you can see in pictures, however, original glue. No repairs or restorations have been made. The bottle is being sold in as is found condition.
