OLD CAST IRON TOY MAYTAG WASHING MACHINE, COMPLETE, NOT A SAMPLE A TOY

The photos show this old toy from most every angle. However it does not tell you the size of anything. That is a regular size package of gum, and the water bottle is 8" but that's not enough help either! So the size is approx. 8" high up to the wringer, front to back 4" and side to side, 3 1/2". Wit...hout the wringer it is 5 3/4" high. If there are any other sizes you may want to know, email me and I will measure it more. If you grew up like I did, (poor of course honest!) my Mother would get up very early Monday morning and start that Maytag Washer. (The identical machine like this old toy.) Except this toy is not electric! That's why I was never going to sell it. But it's time to down size. ( yuck) I've only seen three in the 45+ years of collecting. The last one I knew of, sold at an east coast auction for over $1, 000.00." Auctions can go real low or very high! I am only setting the price for what I had to pay originally, not looking for a Vegas trip! I think the hose was replaced before I purchased it, because it isn't dinged up and trashed. This is NOT a common toy, and it is absolutely a TOY! So many sellers call old toys "samples" just to get more money, but a toy is a toy! The paint is original and it was played with for sure! I do not restore, repair, touch up, or do anything to any old toy. I did dust it before the photos however! The base, motor, and lid are all cast iron. and the tub is aluminum. Just like the big ones! I don't know for sure what company made it, but I'm guessing"MAYTAG" in Newton, Iowa! The last image shows a scan of this same machine and is dated 1928. That old adv. will be included with the purchase of this toy. The photos do not do it justice, you need to see it in person and actually hold in in your hands. to see the great details.
