Rhodesian Special Air Service Officers Silver wine goblets named to Captain D.M.S. "Scotty" McCormack, who served as the SAS Intelligence Officer before transferring to the Rhodesian National Intelligence. Scotty joined the SAS in 1974, was Commissioned while serving in the SAS and became their Int Officer. He is mentioned in most of the books written on the Rhodesian SAS, some have photos of him as well. He died on 1 October 2016 and there is a bench in Jeffrey's Bay..., South Africa, that has a memorial plate on it, with his name and details, see attached photo. These goblets were used by him and his wife in the Rhodesian SAS Officer's Mess during the Rhodesia Bush War period. I think just the base of the goblets are Silver, see photos of hallmarks, pretty much polished away. I bought these from Scotty about twenty years ago and they have been in my personal collection since then. These goblets were photographed and used in Jonathan Pittaway's books on the Rhodesian SAS.
