Norah Wellings Vintage Black African American Island Character Doll Glass Eyes (G0 02)12" Black African American rag doll believed to be a Norah Wellings doll with no foot tags - a Google search shows her identifying characteristics indicate she was made by Norah Wellings. She could be a Wellings Hawaiian doll. She has nice thick stuffing; brown velvet like material for her body, arms, legs and head. She has a molded velveteen face and swivel head with glas...s side glancing eyes; painted nostrils, mouth and teeth; individually stitched fingers and toes; applied ears. Her arms are stitched on. Her legs are stitched onto her body and need to be stitched back on the back seams to body. Sewn on black wig.She wears a red kerchief on her head; green velvet grass skirt sewn onto waist; white circle plastic like earrings on ears, upper arms and her left ankle.
