DESCRIPTION:Offered is a rare, large, likely custom made wall or floor mirror made with a wonderfully patinated verdigris copper exterior over a wood frame. Deep scalloped rectangular frame with a flat interior mirror. Very well made. I'd guess the weight is 300-350 lbs. I can decipher "New York, New York" from the ink stamp on the back. Stylistically its similar to Restoration Hardware or Ralph Lauren. The wonderfully distressed, uneven, slightly rusted and b...eautifully colored verdigris patina is stunning. The deep fame adds to the mirrors architectural appeal. No hooks for mounting so I'd assume it's a floor mirror...but it could be hung horizontally with the addition of hardware/supports.
CONDITION:Excellent condition with intended small blemishes. One small piece of copper missing as shown last photo.
