GREAT AGE, LARGE SIZE, FINE FLAT WEAVE, AND A FABULOUS DESIGN - please see all additional photos at bottom of page
- NO RESERVE ! TIRED OF SEEING RIDICULOUS ASKING PRICES ON EBAY AND AT SHOWS???........SHOP WHERE THE DEALERS SHOP..... WE OFFER WHOLESALE ETHNOGRAPHIC ARTS AND OTHER HISTORICAL ITEMS TO ALL PERSONS ALL OVER THE WORLD ! SIZE: Approx. 41 by 68 +/- inches. CONDITION: EXCELLENT with typical signs of use and age as expected. It has all of it's fou...r end tassels, a little selvege wear here and tetc. There is NOT an A/B side. The colors have muted through the years but look quite mellow and pleasing. All in all a great early weaving that is in GREAT CONDITION a for age/use. - Nice rug to use or display - PLEASE SEE ADDITIONAL PHOTOS BY SCROLLING DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE. SIGNATURES/MARKINGS: It is not marked/signed as expected for medium.
COMMENTS: A VERY VISUAL c.1920s era vintage Navajo rug from the Crystal Trading Post area of the Navajo nation. It has selvege on all four sides as well once having four original end tassels that are no longer there. Found in California ranch estate. A nice example with lots of visual and wonderful design. It was woven quite thin and fine especially for it's era and lies nicely on the floor. A perfect size to use or display on a wall, bed, etc. and it has NO RESERVE ! In the rare instance something is damaged in shipping it will be the buyer's sole responsibility to process the claim at the post office. We will provide all the required documentation to help you speed through the process. We cannot issue refunds for directly for items damaged in shipping as we are not the insurer and the post office rules will not allow anyone but the recipient to handle the claim.
