This Exquisite Black Chinese Hand Embroidered Silk LadiesQun Skirt and Jacket is Used and in good condition for its age. It shows withsome wear and a stain on the lower edge of the skirt, as well as some stainingalong the skirts top border. Due to its age, the jacket has some fraying onembroidered edges. Look closely at the pictures for discoloration andimperfections. The Pleated Skirt is a Stunning Pink with Black Bordershangs 39" in length and top border is 48" wide. It is deco...rated withVivid colors of silk Hand Embroidery. Against the Black Silk Borders you'llfind Beautiful Chinese Su Embroidery including Peacocks and a Variety of Birdssurrounded by a floral motif. The Matching Jacket is Black Silk with Pink BorderedSleeves. The Jacket hangs at 32" in length, shoulders at approximately18.5" wide, comparable to ladies size 10. It boasts of Tree Gardens, Floral Motifs, Butterflies and Birds beautifully embroidered over a Black Silkbackground. The sleeves have light pink borders that show an array of birds, butterflies and flowers. Inherited by our late Aunt and Uncle, it was acquired by himwhile serving in Chinaduring WWII. It was worn and we were told it dates as an antique from the QingDynasty era. This combination skirt and jacket set is truly a collector’s item.
