This is a rare vintage tin taxi cab by Yonezawa toy co. from Japan from the 1960's. The box has an ink scribble on the top (see pic). The cab is not running. Honestly I can't find a single reason why it shouldn't be because it is in impeccable condition otherwise. It says it takes 'c' batteries but they seem to be a little small for the compartment. Being that its from the 60's perhaps the battery sizes were different back then? I don't know. My lack of knowledge could be y...our gain if you can figure it out. Could be a super simple fix. The price reflects the fact that it doesn't run. Regardless, this is a super cool addition to any collection!I'm happy to answer any questions!! Thanks for looking!
