This awesome mask is hand carved & painted with real hair & Abalone eyes that spin from open to shut. I think it is possibly the work of Charles Edenshaw (1838 - 1920), who is a Haida Native American from the Northwest coast of Canada. It also has resemblance of Rick Lavelle's work. Whoever made it, it has age and is really a unique piece. I would almost say museum quality.
