Indian Art Ladies is back!!
Robert Tenorio is credited with the revival of Santo Domingo pottery. He learned to make heishi jewelry with his parents when he was young, but found his true artistic calling when he attended IAIA and learned to make pottery. He uses clay dug from his pueblo, processes ...it by hand over several days, then hand-coils his pots as his ancestors did. This wonderfully traditional vase features a more negative color scheme with black and terracotta geometric patterns displayed throughout. The piece has a lovely vase shape and is signed by Robert with his trademark constellation pattern. Measurements: 8"h x 9"w.
