Original Description:
Beautiful hand carved vintage Thunderbird totem by Ray Williams, with his named carved in the back. Also with paper label describing the totem: "Top figure is the Thunderbird...Bottom figure is Chet-Woot the Bear..." Also with "Tsimshian Tribe" in pencil, although some say that Ray was Ditidaht. 13" tall in very good condition with nice clear color still (black, white, green and red), and no damage. Also has label on bottom marked "#2".

Ray Williams was a master carver with wor...ks in museums, and some of his children also have taken on the tradition.
