Vintage Apple Macintosh Classic II No Power Cord

This vintage Apple Classic II is fresh from an estate. It was found with no cord. I used a newer cord and it does turn on and I can hear it working. The screen at first looked like me last photo and then stays black like my featured photo. Not sure if that is how it is supposed to be or if it needs repair. The case is in good cosmetic condition. The buyer will need their own cord.
