Up for sale is this rare piece. Early 1900's Native American buckskin scout shirt.
This came from the estate of a collector of Native American artifacts in California.Possibly Ojibwey tribe?
The shirt features beautiful beadwork depicting flowers down the middle of the chest as well as the left pocket. The fringed leather is a very light tan color.This piece would likely to be brain tanned, a very time consuming process.

Pit to pit: 22.5"
Shoulder to shoulder: 19"
Top of shoulder to sleeve: 30"
Condition: Good overall shape. Some stains and signs of age. The leather is still soft and supple. The beadwork is in good shape and intact.
