Excellent and masterfully African folks art " Family tree of life" with a column of people with one large standing male as one central figure ( probably the father of all or chief ) surrounded by smaller men figures which appeal to be climbing or holding each other up commonly depict membe...r of extended blood line of family..
It is extraordinary hand carving wood made by Makonde people ( ethnic group in Tanzania and Mozambique ) and part of Kenya

16.1/4 inches high by 5 inches widest area by 5.1/4 deep and 5.1/4 inches on bottom. It weight about 7.1 LBS
This beautiful piece of art appeal to be old ( sorry not sure about age) rustichand made with old shown of wear, small scratches minor chips or imperfection on bottom old repaired crack on chest and bottom of center figure and 2 crack of arm of figurines and line of crack of bottom an small scratches otherwise it looks great as display piece ...
