Vintage Senufo bold mid-20th century Ivory Coast Senufo hand-woven cotton Korhogo cloth depicting several figures, in costume, dancing, amidst a few birds, Korhogo cloths are woven of cotton in strips, and hand stitched together, painted with naturally pigmented mud. These cloths hang in their home for ornamental decorative accents of culture and beliefs. Many are decorated with symbols of humans, birds, and anumals, all of which are rooted in Senufo culture and mythology. This t...extile is in very good condition, it is not mounted.
