This great, vintage Chinese hand carved opal stone snuff bottle stands on a hand carved wood base with silver inlay wire design. It measures aprox 2 1/4" tall and 2" wide and with base it is aprox 3" tall. The base has some museum wax in it to hold the piece on it. The design is of a fabulous dragon with his body on one side and crossing the bottom and his tail runs up the other side.It looks like he holds an offering bowl. He resides on a beautifully opalescent bottle. The t...op has a small spoon attached and the back of the bottle has some Chinese characters. All reside in a soft case. Thank you, enjoy!
