A beaded knife sheath with hand made knife ~ Elk antler handle
This beaded knife sheath in Apachebeaded design, comes with a handmade knife with an Obsidian blade.The black Obsidian blade resemblesan arrow head. The blade is 4 1/2" long.And the knife is 10 1/3" total in length. ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ This sheath is 8 1/4".. a large sheath.The opening is 2 1/3" wide.
*************************This is all genuine brain tanneddeer hide which is soft ...but sturdy, and itis lightly smoked over a fire.Bead colors are black, white, dark red, and the center is the fade colors fromdark red all the way to yellow.________________________
Belt loop is on the back.There is a stiff cow hide insert under thebrain tan that gives strength to the sheath.My father, was a knife makerand he taught me the importanceof a strong knife sheath.Made by Osalita, part Cherokee/ Choctaw.Made in America.
