Up for auction is a Vintage Native American Indian Hand Painted Carved Wood Kachina Doll adorned with feathers. This piece was acquired from an antique collector's estate and does have some damage to it - one of the "horns" is broken/missing and I can only guess it had an "arrow" in its hand but aside of that there is a little red paint on the white body. I'm inclined to believe it is from the Hopi tribe however I had another piece, already sold, which came from the Sioux tribe but uns...ure if they are related. There is a paper tag which reads: s. ho te katcina. This piece measures roughly 11" tall, not including the feathers which bring it over 12". The "horns" span 6" across and it stands on 2 1/2" "feet". Please look closely at the pictures for details and condition.
