Vintage 1960's Bandai, tin lithograph, battery operated, remote control, Mercedes Benz 300 SL Coupe. Made in Japan. This beautiful toy, is in nearly mint condition. Hard to find one much nicer. It comes with the original box. The Box does have some damage, and is missing the plastic. Forward and reverse work great. The wheel on the remote is to lower and raise the mechanism that lifts the doors. The gears inside the remote are plastic, and have begun to get stripped. I was able to get ...the mechanism to lift the doors once, and close the doors once, to test it, but it is touchy. Everything does work though. I am leaving it to the collector to determine what to do about the gear. If you use the mechanism, the doors may get stuck in the up position. This is a very rare toy. An awesome addition to any vintage toy, battery operated, remote control, tin litho, or vehicle collection.
