Charming Vintage Avocado Cowgirl Costume made of Felt w Sequins and Fringe
Made in Baltimore by A. T. Jones & Sons Inc., Theatrical costumers since 1868, this sweet cowgirl is made of satin lined Avocado Green colored felt with sequin trim and matching fringe. These costumes were created and rented in the 1960's but have been in storage since the mid 80's. Considering they are made of felt, they are in good condition ... BUT ... there are stains and repairs and a...lterations throughout ... the vest is lined and the skirt is not. I have left all previous sizing alterations as-is ! There are darts taken in on both the skirt and vest ... but I don't want to leave color difference or stitching track marks.
I have tried to photograph damage and dirt ... please look at the pics before purchasing !
Cleaning these will be tricky as water will be bad for the felt and dry cleaning will be rough on the sequins ... better to wear as-is or collect and enjoy the dude ranch look !
This one is M/L - 38-40" bust, 27" waist, and 16 1/2" skirt length with the fringe counted.
