Vintage 1953 Matty Mattel Toymakers Jack in the Box clown, No. 659. Item itself is in good condition with a dent in the upper part of one side and a missing knob for the handle. However, the toy doesn't work correctly. When the handle is turned, the music doesn't play and the clown doesn't jump up out of the box. You have to open the top of the box for the clown to come out. The clown is in very good condition and the eyes vibrate back and forth as the clown sways. It's a bit creepy, i...f you don't mind that kind of thing. Still a great toy that measures appr. 11-1/2" tall when the clown is up and is ready to display. Please look at all pictures as they are part of the description and email with questions, if any.
