Up for auction is this vintage PAIR of 20th C Chinese blanc de chine / Dehua white porcelain foo dog lion statues.
The detail is incredible - with the fierce faces, ball, pup, curled and finely-detailed bodies. Even the bases of each have extraordinary scenes with horses running freely, fantastic flower blossoms, and cranes with foliage and landscape scenes. They both display beautifully from every angle!
They measure about 10.7” inches tall and 6.1” inches long and 4.2” i...nches wide (27.2 cm, 15.5 cm, 10.7 cm). I believe made in the Cultural Revolution period. Vintage high quality Chinese handmade art!
Nice pieces in excellent condition with no cracks or chips or repairs. They are pristine and perfect!
Would also make a fine addition to a collection, or a great gift!
