Item specifics:
This is a fancy Toothpick knife with Abalone Scales and a round 45-70 Cartridge shield. The knife has never been used and comes in the original box with original papers.
Listed as Used because the knife experienced some humidity on a cross-country move and, by the time I looked at it, there was rust on the blade. The rust has been removed, and the blade ...has been polished, but it shows signs of the unfortunate experience. There is some staining and a couple of small pits. Make sure to look closely at the pictures before bidding.
Closed length is 5”, and the Turkish Clip blade is 4”. The front tang stamp reads Winchester Trademark Made in USA. The rear tang stamp reads 10102 93. The blade has a solid half stop and good snap with no movement or wobble. The Nickel Silver bolsters are scrolled and remain shiny. The scales are free of cracks and look very nice.
The two-piece hard box is in near mint condition with no rips or tears to the box or the red felt insert. There is a $68.00 price sticker on the bottom.
