Edges have wear, has nails bottom is slate, one corner has tape. top edge in one corner is chipped out. i have not cleaned and has the original patina and was on display in my home, this is a really cool box, not many have survived over the years.ONE SIDE IS UPSIDE DOWN As shown it was opened from the bottom.
