Vintage Shackman Miniature Wooden Noah's Ark Play Set Toy Made In Japan 1956
A Good Condition miniature Noah's Ark toy set by Shackman and Co.. My research shows that the set was made in Japan about 1956. Was received as a childhood gift over 50 years ago. Ark measures about 5-1/2" long x 3-1/2 tall. Contains following figures: Noah, Naamah (Noah's wife), 2 cows, 2 horses, 1 giraffe, 1 camel, PLUS additional non-original figures: 1 sheep, and 1 horse. Gir...affe (tallest animal) stands at about 1-3/8", Noah also stands at about 1-3/8", Cows (smallest figures) stand at about 5/8" tall/ All figures about 1/4" wide.All figures show signs of scrapes and use, with paint worn away; Ark is still well fitted, but again shows signs of scrape wear and use. Original paint throughout. Please see pictures.NOTE: This set is not complete, with only 8 original figures.
