Included is the signed, and notarized, affidavit to the authenticity of this document with the purchase of this transcript by Col. Charles W. Mays daughter, Ms. Betty Mays Foster.This transcript was read by Lord Justice Lawrence on Sept. 30, 1946.These items were once owned by Col. Charles W. Charles W. Mays after the trial, an assortment of original “battle”maps used during WW2 by Col. Charles W. Mays while in Germany [including theheadquarters map of the 407th Field Artillery Group with Col. C. W.Hays printed on it], a cloth “escape” map given to Col. C.W. Mays in 1945 inthe case that he would need to escape, several original and reproduced fromoriginal black and white photographs including Col C.W. Mays with GeneralGeorge Patton, and a large collection of original and copied scrapbook items keptby Col. C.W. Mays.
