This is the ORIGINAL "Pecking Chicken" that came from China in the 1970's, not the reproduction in later years.
You can tell from the paint job. There is also an earlier Chicken that was made in Japan in the 1950s that came inside egg.
Measures: 1 7/8"s High
In excellent condition with a slight scrape on right side next to the eye, Works great. Comes with a key, that is not original. The s...upplied Wind Up Key is Valued at $5 by itself. This chick is the original one that first came into the US in the 1970s.(It did not come into the country till the 1970s not the 1960s as some have said)
