I'm doing some cleanup and letting go of a vintage brown Gibson USA Guitar Company hard case. I'm not sure of the year; it's just old (70s or early 80s maybe?). It's solid and functionally sound, there's just some cosmetic scuffs, scrapes, edge wear, nicks, stray white marks, etc. (see pics for more), with the most noticeable being a tear in the tolex right on the front. All latches and hinges work as they should. One of the rubber feet is mi...ssing on the bottom (an easy fix). The interior looks great and the lid opens and closes as it should. This guitar fits my old Melody Maker just fine, but my Les Paul Classic is too thick at the bridge for the lid to shut. So ... I'm guessing this was made for slimmer Gibsons such as a Melody Maker, SG, or Sonex. The inside dimensions are about 13" Width x 39 1/4" Length. It's not a museum piece, just a great example of an old factory Gibson case. S and H is $49.50 (to the continental USA only, please), most likely by UPS Ground.
