This is an antique black and white Art Nouveau postcardof Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with an undivided back. It shows 3 beautiful views of(clockwise): 1. Die Rhede (= Quay) 2. The SMS Vineta (1897-1920) a cruiser of the German Imperial Navy in the harbour3. Die Einfahrt (= Entrance). This postcard waspublished in 1901. So it is more than one HUNDRED and 15 years OLD. Thispostcard was sent to Germany in that same year. The redand white 100 Reis damaged stamp is still attached on its back. H...owever creaseson top left and bottom right corner they do not affect the pictures (see can)and it is still a great collectable. Condition: fair/good.
