VINTAGE Native American Hopi Kachina Doll - Corn Maid Signed . Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.Estate item. Stored for a number of years, this doll is in good condition with minor cosmetic issues. Base has been split, reglued. Tape was removed from base and there is some residue which I did not want to disturb or cause damage. Signature is visible. Stands about 9 inches tall. Base is 4 inches x 3 inches. As it is, this doll would be a wonderful addition to any collection. There's a lot of neat history behind the dolls and some can be quite pricey. "Kachina dolls originated with the Hopi tribe. They were given to Hopi children during ceremonies, then hung on the wall and studied afterward. Kachina dolls were made in the image of the spirits worshipped by the tribe.
