c.1880 Antique French hand stitched lacey baby bonnet, with pink silk ribbon threaded through the lace, finishing in a bow each side. The bonnet is lined in deep cream silk, which has perished in several places, but the lace & net has not suffered the same fate. The front has been stiffened by wire.The bonnet is being modeled by my favourite Ted, to give you an idea of the size, so suitable for a doll. This item is well over 130 years old & has been store...d in an armoire, (so there will be the odd storage marks) together with several other baby items that I will be listing.
