You are about to bid on a RARE, COMPLETE Never Used 1978 Mattel BATTLESTAR GALACTICA Viper Launch Station. This is an amazing set that was found as NEW STORE STOCK from an old Kay Bee Store warehouse years ago. This item was set to be sent back to the Mattel manufacturer as "overstock", but never sent.
This item is, at minimum excellent condition, if not MINT. It has never been sold nor played with. ALL the items are here. The paperwork, parts, cardboard Cylon targets and ALL ...DECALS INTACT. This is an AMAZING FIND.
Unlike most offerings like this - the ORIGINAL rubber bands, Vipers and parts are STILL SEALED COMPLETE in the original bag. The outer box is in great strong condition with minor store shelf scuff but no structural damage at all and displays wonderfully. The box has a small piece of brown wrapping tape on one end flap ( see photo ) - again applied by Kay Bee store personnel, but does not damage the box.
It's VERY RARE to find this set COMPLETE and MINT contents.
If I had to find any minor issue, the original Kay Bee store sprayed a barely notable spritz of gray, silvery paint on the upper launcher shell - to not this item was "overstock" and not to be sold. You can ( barely ) see this paint in the photo of the part above w/ the bag of vipers and rubber bands. It is hardly visible, but I want to be totally complete in this description. The decals are all intact on the original sheet and the instructions.
EVERYTHING IS COMPLETE IN THIS SET - and in excellent or MINT CONDITION. Get this great set now.
