For your consideration is an antique Aladdin Model 2 nickel font and frame hanging oil lamp with a #203 white opal dome lamp shade circa 1910-1911. On this metal frame it has an embossed shade ring with 3 thumbscrews marked MADE IN U.S.A. to hold the shade and the font ring is embossed with a J style slot. On the shade it has both the fitter and the wide rim edge are fired and there is some ash marks on the inside of the shade. This hanging lamp has a brass smoke bell included. On the ...burner it is missing the locking thumb screw for the wick riser thumbwheel. The hanging frame is in good condition with no breaks but has wear marks through the nickel in a few places. The burner and font is nickel plated with some wear so brass is showing and pitting in the font, burner and frame. The chimney is marked Aladdin and is in good condition with no chips or cracks and the shade is in good condition with no chips or cracks.The lamp measures approximately 29" total height from the top of the loop to hang it to the bottom of the font. The shade is 6 1/4" tall and the bottom wide rim is 13 3/4" in diameter. The shades fitter is 6" in diameter.
