Pair Vintage Asian Man & Woman Table Lamps w/ShadesUp for auction are these fabulous Asian man & woman chalkware lamps. They were made out of chalkware and hand painted probably in the late '40s to '50s. They show their age, but have been repaired and touched up with none of those nasty white chips so common with vintage chalkware to be seen. Both have been rewired with new wire and light sockets—totally safe to use—and new felt has been placed on the bottoms so not t...o scratch your furniture. Vintage shades are a gorgeous satin material in a wine color with a great sheen to them with no tears, holes or stains. They are topped with original brass finials. They measure 29 inches tall from top of finial to bottom of the base. They display beautifully and are wonderful when lit. Perfect for that retro Mid-Century look.
