Vintage 1950s Baby Barry’s Emmett Kelly “Weary Willie The Clown” Doll. You are shopping on a vintage 1950’s Emmett Kelly Willie the Clown Doll. He measures 22”. His eyes are bright and realistic looking. He has a rubber face and hands. There is a genuine tag on the side of his pants saying “Exclusive Licensee Baby Barry Toy - NYC”. Emmett Kelly was an American circus performer, who created the memorable clown figure “Weary Willie”, based on the hobos of the depression... era.
This is for sale “as is” as it is approximately 70 years old. I have wiped him down removing dirt and dust from being stored in the top of Great Grandpa’s garage. He was the original owner and took this doll with him to visit sick children in the hospital where together they made animal balloons and passed them out.
Condition is Used but still holding together. See photos. His nose looks like it was either painted or lit up at some point.
