This is a wound pattern for sand casting pinion gear.Very nice and unique foundry pattern for making industrial molds.It has mold engraving on one side of the wood mold.  This one is interesting because it has so much wording details.On the engraving part:12 T. PINION 6.1270.D. 5.251 P.D.1.375 C.P. 4 1/2 F.A JOHNSON R.R.
