A scarce early old post prohibition era brewery advertising back bar display sign. This one is advertising Alpen Brau Beer from The Columbia Brewing Co. of St Louis Missouri MO. The sign measures 10" x 6-1/4" and is in fair to good condition as shown. The sign is made up of a celluloid or acetate front panel with a foil and cardboard backing. The front panel shows some waviness to it where it has retreated from the backing a bit over the years. Overall a sharp looking sign with great c...olors and graphics that displays well with normal wear from age and use. The sign is a Stik On Sign made by: Milprint Inc. of Milwaukee Wisconsin WI. A very tough sign in any condition as these were meant to be stuck onto a surface and most did not survive removal intact.
