Handsomefold-out 1954 Gulf road map of Georgia, printed more than 63years ago. This map opens to 18" x 36" and has greatdetail on old highway alignments, including U.S. Routes 1, 17, and 80, with cartography by Rand McNally.
On the reverse side there's a road map of the southeastern UnitedStates and an inset of Atlanta and vicinity, including Decatur, CollegePark, Hapeville, and the City of Atlanta Dairy Farm.
This map was published by the Gulf Refining Company in 1954 a...nd isdated by the code number in the lower margin: 4-4601V-25.
The backcover has the code 1825-E, along with a GulfOrange Disc and a Sanitary Rest Rooms sign.
Condition: This map is in very good, lightly usedcondition, , with a few stray wrinkles, a couple of tiny marks from a previous owner, and no rips or tears.Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions.
Gulf issued two versions of its 1954 road mapof Georgia, with different back covers. The other version has an adfor Trak — Gulf's moth spray with 6% DDT on the back cover. Itmay also be available in our eBay store.
