Re-listing because original buyer backed out!The item up for bid is a very nice dug militia eagle two piece buckle. It was found many years ago at a Confederate site in the town of Raymond, MS. The battle of Raymond was a crucial part of the Vicksburg campaign, and the Union and Confederate forces met there in a heated battle. Guaranteed authentic, as my feedback can attest to. This beautiful, scarce buckle would make a great addition to a western theater Civil War collection.
