Offering a wonderful Vintage Chalk ware Charlie Chaplin Drunk Hobo Lamp Post Bar Light!
This light belonged to my father-in-law and we found it when we cleaned out his bar. There are no chips or cracks on the chalk ware figure or the rest of the lamp. There is an ash tray at the base of the feet. This light figure measures 23 inches in height and the base measures 6 3/3 in length and 5 1/8 inches in width. On the base of the lamp is a piece of felt that ...was most likely placed on it by the owner. This wonderful bar lamp is the ultimate conversation piece. I will be glad to share my father-in-law's name to the final buyer. He was a member of the 508th Infantry who jumped into Normandy on D-Day! A wonderful historic bar light for any collector!
