He measures about 16" - He wears his originalclothing, with untangled, working strings & "Unitrol" cardboardstring manipulator. Painted composition and wood with fabric outfit - It is anearlier puppet variation with painted eyes.Marionette is in fantastic shape with some light wear ...to boots and blemishto boot chap LH boot – Overall his original clothing, composition hands andhead are all in very good condition (see pics) "Unitrol"cardboard string manipulator shows some light creasing but overall a wellpreserved marionette. Howdy Doody was a television program for children that was created and broadcaston NBC in the USA from 1947 until 1960. It set the pattern for many similarshows, because it was a pioneer in children's programming.
