Offered in this sale is a small vintage - perhaps antique - Asian porcelain plate or dish which may be the cover or base for a rice bowl. I believe that this is Japanese vrs Chinese, however, it is clearly marked so collectors familiar with the language will most likely recognize immediately. It measures 4 1/2" in diameter x 5/8". It is sig...ned on the underside of the base which you can see in the 2nd image and also has what I presume is a verse or poem on the front top surface. The condition is excellent. There are no chips, cracks, flakes, hairline or restoration.
