Vintage clear glass perfume bottle made in the form of a female dressmakers dummy, complete with its original glass dauber and glass flowers and leaves.It used to contain the perfume 'Shocking' and was first made by Elsa Schiaparelli in 1935. The bottle shape is said to have been inspired by Salvador Dali's paintings of a woman flower seller and is based on Mae West's curvaceous figure.A bunch of 4 delicate glass flowers and 2 green leaves are attached to the bottle neck by ...its original thread.The base has 'Schiaparelli France' embossed in the glass. The bottle is in very good condition with no chips or cracks.Measures approx 9cm (31/2") tall. A lovely collector's bottle!
