Description: Original 6 ¾” x 10 ½” hand colored print titled “Le-Soldat-Du-Chene” from the 1844 book of The McKenney & Hall prints of Native Americans, from their History of the Indian Tribes of North America (1837-1844), documents an important part of American history, illust...rating the great leaders of the Indian nations which have disappeared since the mid-nineteenth century. Bottom edge reads Published by D. Rice and A.N. Hart, Philad. Lith. In excellent condition with no bends. I have shown one in mat and with mat opened and print removed. All are the same way. Held in with a small piece of tape at the top and bottom edge or just at top edge with either tape or small hinges like stamp hinges. See the one of “Amiskquew, A Menominie Warrior” or “Itcho-Tustennuggee” that I listed and removed from the mat or lifted part of the mat. I will ship them in the mat for extra protection. Mat size is 10 ½” x 13 ½”. Combine them to save on shipping costs.NO reserve.
