From my airship collection I offer an original heavy silver plate world war one pilots trinket or perhaps cigarette box. Heavy silver over brass with a wooden insert of what wood I do not know. Looks exotic. Has that legend very popular with the aviators GOTT MIT UNS= GOD WITH US. Much of the original silvering is still present. Box is about 3 1/2 inch wide by 3 1/4 front to back and about 1 3/4 deep. A rare box most likely used by a German aviator during the Great War. See the s...cans. Shipping is free. Paypal preferred.
