Rare and beautiful 2 gallon salt glazed jug with blue slip tulip and maker's mark, S. Hart, Fulton (NY): 1840-76, in pretty much perfect condition, with no cracks, hairlines, chips (one tiny one on the underside edge not visible when standing upright). Stunning and very hard to find; the tulip slip in blue is beautiful.
