For your consideration is a very scare and original Pre-WW2 Soviet Union (USSR) Russian Red Army helmet SSH-36 Model 36. There is no liner, as is the case for most of these since the soldiers often ripped them out to wear their fur or woolen hats under them to survive in the harsh weather conditions. Condition is obviously Used but is in excellent shape. Outer shell is great, some surface rust on the inside but nothing serious. Approximate measurements: 10 1/4... wide at widest point from rim-to-rim; 11 5/16” long, rim-to-rim. For liner: 7 3/4” side-to-side; 9” front-to-back. Stamped on the inside rear is “3A-1365.” Sorry for the high starting price but these are hard to come by, especially in the U.S. Sold as is, no returns; no international sales. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
