For sale is a new old stock, Remington Arms Co. produced 1903, Springfield rifle barrel in 30-06 caliber. Produced in August of 1944, by the Remington Arms Co., so marked near the front sight, with the flaming bomb ordinance mark.
Barrel measures 24 1/8”, has never had a round through it. Should make an old clunker into a shooter.
It looks like a 2 groove barrel to me on the rifling, which would be correct in every way, for this late war produced replacement barrel. As you can... see in the pics, it has dark, dark gray parkerizing, which is 98%complete. A few tiny marks near the front sight base.
